Most of you have seen my slow cooker featured in recipes on Southern Plate. I’ve actually gotten several emails regarding it. What brand is it? Where did you get it? Do you like it?
Well folks, it is a Hamilton Beach. My husband got it for me for Mother’s Day after I begged, pleaded, and left sticky notes all over the house about it and – I LOVE IT.
My slow cooker is by far the most loved item in my kitchen. The three different sized bowls are handier than you could ever imagine. Creating large servings of stew for a crowd or even using the largest and smallest together to create a slow cooker water bath as I did in my Slow Cooker Oatmeal. The middle sized bowl is the perfect serving size for a meal for my family of four but I do love the options!
I used the largest bowl to make my Slow Cooker Apple Butter. The medium is just right for my Best Ever Beef Stew, Slow Cooker Chicken and Dressing, and Slow Cooker Lasagna.
The extremely durable finish on the bowls makes them easy as pie to clean, even after I’ve left them sitting overnight (which I know none of you EVER do!).
This is my first slow cooker with a “warm” setting and that has been SO nice to have!
The possibilities and uses for this appliance are positively endless!
Slow cooker comes with 2, 4, and 6 quart nestable bowls!
Alright, I’m getting to that part! You’ve got to understand that I’m pretty excited about this!

I have been eying this at Wal-Mart for the last few months!! I really think this would be a great option since it’s just me and my husband. Sometimes making a smaller meal would be handy, but other times making a huge crock of stew for freezing would be nice too!

TMAC: I’m so glad you loved the lasagna! Isn’t that recipe just the best? The first shipment of my cookbooks have already shipped out and I expect to receive them tomorrow or Wed at the latest! I have a list of folks who have already contacted me wanting one and as soon as I get them taken care of I will put it for sale on my website. I hope to have them up for sale by Thursday! I think creativity is important here… especially since nobody else has thought of it.
Oh Please, I need the Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker with its versatility. I would use the large pot when my hungry Marine Corp son is home. And he sure can eat a lot of stew, dumplings, etc. whatever is put in front of him. The smaller pots would be used when it is just hubby and I. I love cooking the crock pot way. There is nothing better than coming home after working at the hospital all day and smelling that great home cooked odor of seasoned beef or chicken. Your lasagna recipe was great.
I would love a new slow cooker – I NEED a new one, since I cannot use mine the way it was intended – I can not leave it on and unattended since I am afraid of a fire -it is soooooo old (from the late 70′s,it’s a strange butterscotch/brown/red color!). But, I can and do use it on occasion, and a new one would be great! It would be nice to learn a few recipes so I do not turn on the oven so often here in hot south Florida.

I want it really bad – unfortunately, I cannot send a recipe because I don’t have a slow cooker and none of them have been personally tested. hundreds of recipes sitting there, with nothing to do.
I have two large crockpots already and have been wanting a smaller one. This one would be perfect to add to my collection for an entire crock-pot feast!! I’m also sending my recipe for a a second chance to win.
Okay, let’s try this blogging thing. I desperately want this 3 in 1 crock pot. With 3 kids including a newborn, I definitely need something I can cook a variety of meals with. I have no time in the present to fix a great meal. An awesome crockpot will help!
