Most of you have seen my slow cooker featured in recipes on Southern Plate. I’ve actually gotten several emails regarding it. What brand is it? Where did you get it? Do you like it?
Well folks, it is a Hamilton Beach. My husband got it for me for Mother’s Day after I begged, pleaded, and left sticky notes all over the house about it and – I LOVE IT.
My slow cooker is by far the most loved item in my kitchen. The three different sized bowls are handier than you could ever imagine. Creating large servings of stew for a crowd or even using the largest and smallest together to create a slow cooker water bath as I did in my Slow Cooker Oatmeal. The middle sized bowl is the perfect serving size for a meal for my family of four but I do love the options!
I used the largest bowl to make my Slow Cooker Apple Butter. The medium is just right for my Best Ever Beef Stew, Slow Cooker Chicken and Dressing, and Slow Cooker Lasagna.
The extremely durable finish on the bowls makes them easy as pie to clean, even after I’ve left them sitting overnight (which I know none of you EVER do!).
This is my first slow cooker with a “warm” setting and that has been SO nice to have!
The possibilities and uses for this appliance are positively endless!
Slow cooker comes with 2, 4, and 6 quart nestable bowls!

Oh my goodness! I’ve never seen a slow cooker with different size inserts. That’s so awesome! I love my slow cooker and use it often, but only if I’m cooking for a crowd.

I have visited your blog before while surfing on “Pinky’s” blog. She told us about your generosity in your givaway. I have definately bookmarked your blog. Im from the south but live up north now. Really missing the homestyle cooking from my childhood. I have been reading up on your recipes and looking at your tutorials. Awesome recipes girl.
