New And Improved Email Subscription Service!

I have heard from readers who had problems with their email subscriptions. Apparently photos are being covered with words and text is blending into more text to the extent of making it unable to be read at all.
This is due to an issue with Feedburner, which is the service I have been using for my email subscriptions.

I am terribly sorry for this inconvenience and appreciate all of your patience as I have searched for ways to solve this problem. Since Feedburner is unable to be contacted for help on this issue, I have switched over to a paid service to be able to have more control over the feeds which go out from Southern Plate.

This new company requires that another confirmation be sent out to each email address that I have imported in order to assure that you all want to receive my emails. This is just another way to protect you, the reader.

Please click the link when you receive your email and you will then be automatically sent an email from me which will include the FREE eCookbook of Reader’s Favorite Slow Cooker Recipes in addition to my emails each week of printer friendly recipes from the past week on Southern Plate.

If you do not receive this email, please check your spam or junk folder.

If you are not already a Southern Plate email subscriber, now is a great time to become one!
Every Southern Plate Email subscriber will be automatically mailed a FREE eCookbook in addition to receiving an email from me at the end of each week with printer friendly versions of each recipe featured on Southern Plate that week.
I have many more exclusive goodies coming for email subscribers as well!

This time tomorrow, I will disable the Feedburner service so you will have to have clicked the verification link in that email to continue receiving Southern Plate postings and recipe emails in the future. If you don’t receive this email in time and find you are no longer receiving Southern Plate recipes and mailings in your inbox, simply return to www.southernplate.com and subscribe again with the box in the top right hand corner! You’ll still receive the free eCookbook when you verify your email subscription!

Please do not hit reply to the verification email, you can only verify your address by clicking the link inside the email. If you reply, it goes to my personal email and I am unable to verify you that way! :D
Also, anyone who is an email subscriber will receive one addition entry in my slow cooker giveaway!

(Which will be explained along with the free eCookbook in my very next post!)

Thank you all for your loyalty and kindness as I do all I can to make Southern Plate better for you!
Gratefully,
Christy

We had fried potatoes a lot too, not just a southern thing as I was born and raised in Ohio! My mom’s looked just like the ones in the picture too. Thanks for the memories.
