I JUST LOVE YOUR SITE. MOST OF YOUR RECIPES I CAN SO RELATE TO. I STARTING COOKING AT THE AGE OF 6. MY MOM GOT SICK AND HAD TO STAY IN BED SO MY DAD CAME HOME FOR LUCH EVERYDAY SO I WOULD PULL UP A CHAIR TO THE STOVE AND DID WHAT MY MOM TOLD ME AND COOKED LUNCH FOR DADDY. THEN THE REST IS HISTORY. MY MOM AND BOTH MY GRANDMAS WERE MY ROLE MODELS AND I THINK I TURNED OUT TO BE A PRETTY GOD COOK.

Christy, It has been awhile since I commented BECAUSE I won the great Hamilton Beech 3 in 1 crockpot from your last giveaway and I’ve been busy with all kinds of slow cooker recipes. I LOVE my 3 in 1 slow cooker and everybody that sees it wants one just like it!! I, like Bill Gent, will concede if I am lucky enough to be drawn for this crock pot since I was blessed with the wonderful one from your last contest. Oh, by the way, my Taco Rex cheese dip that is in your slow cooker e-cookbook, was not really a slow cooker recipe. LOL I’m wondering if anyone has tried it in their crock pot and how did it work? I’ve only baked it in the oven.

Every time I get a Southern Plate Email with all the wonderful southern recipes in it, I feel like I am in heaven. I just want to go out and buy all the ingredients to the recipes and make as many of them as I can. They all look so tasty and delicious. I wish I was born in the South and grew up with all this Southern Comfort.
