Christy, Thanks so much for posting (and re-posting) this! You have saved a busy working mom (me!) with this and your Chocolate Gravy mix. I just finished making 25 of each gift mix for friends, co-workers, and (northern) family members. I tested a batch for myself, of course…wonderful!!!

Much as I would love to make all occasion tags, I just don’t have the time. It is on “the list” though!

In the meantime, you are welcome to print out mine as a guide and make your own using Word or Publisher- or your favorite program.

I love the idea of making these mixes for gift giving. I do have a request though. Is it possible to get the tags without the Christmas graphic? I would love to make these for gifts for other gift giving opportunities and the Christmas graphic makes that impossible.

what is absolutely hilarious to me is that my yankee french canadian grandmother used to make these and called them my great grandmas southern muffins (she was from arkansas)…………

I’ve already made the muffins. This gift mix is going to go over so well with so many people. The first one is for my new daughter in law who is starting to learn how to cook. Actually, since she is still a student, my son will probably get the opportunity (grins) to create these himself. I always told him he would be glad some day when he had to cook himself. He told me in college that they just went out to eat, ordered pizza or lived on Top Ramen. He said he didn’t even need to know how to cook. Then he got married! Now he has to cook all the time!
