I finally got around to using one for cookies today. I don't bake a lot because my hubby low carbs, but I tempted him with chocolate chip cookies baked with Splenda. The cookie sheet really did make a difference! The bottoms weren't at all burnt and they slid right off. Thanks for the tip, Christy! It just took a minute to take the butter out of the fridge and plop it on the scale! I actually use it for making herbal medicines. That was the first time I used it for food! I was using a postal scale of my husband's, but it wasn't precise enough. I got this one at TJ Maxx for about $18. It's all electronic. I know they sell simpler ones for less.
