Many of you have written that you are having a difficult time finding Pioneer Baking Mix in your local Wal Marts. I spoke with my extremely kind contact at Pioneer and she says they are working on getting it back in all of the stores. If you’ll just let the manager know you want it, they can get it in for you!
Also courtesy of Pioneer Brand, here is a recipe and photo for ya! I haven’t got to try this yet so y’all let me know if you do! I hope to make it this week because it sure looks good (I’m making it for supper one night!).

1/2 lb. sausage, cooked and crumbled
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 lb. tater tots
1 1/2 cups cold water
1 package Pioneer Peppered Gravy Mix
2 large eggs
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 Tbsp. minced chives
PREHEAT oven to 350ºF.
PREPARE sausage, set aside.
HEAT oil in a 10 to 12-inch oven-proof skillet.
BROWN tater tots 4 minutes.
REMOVE from heat; sprinkle on sausage.
WHISK gravy mix into water.
WHISK in eggs.
POUR evenly over tater tots.
BAKE 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted is clean when removed.

That looks soooo good. I love breakfast casseroles, so quick and easy. I love Pioneer Brand products and you’re right, Wal-Mart does not carry them any more. So sad. I’ve told the department manager about several things I wish they would start puttin’ on their shelves, and it doesn’t seem to do any good. Thanks for the great giveaway.

I love your website and the fact that it is FREE. I have had several paid subscriptions to some sites to get recipes that are not near as good as the ones you have published and the step by step directions are just GREAT!
Thanks!
Sounds like a good breakfast and an even better supper
Looks and sounds yummy! Will surely try.
I too have looked everywhere for the Pioneer Biscuit Mix, with no luck here in my corner of Indiana. After doing a search online (and seeing many, many, MANY MORE RECIPES using the stuff!) I finally found the home website and ordered 2 cannisters for $5. Was I shocked to find out the shipping was almost $9 by Fed Ex! (only shipping option offered) So I said to myself, in that case, I’ll order FOUR cannisters! Might as well get my money’s worth! I can’t wait till it arrives in a day or two so I can make homemade biscuits, yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
This recipe is fabulous. IF you are in the San Antonio TX area, may I urge you to visit the Guenther House for breakfast or lunch. The Guenther Family were the creators of the Pioneer Brand Products.
What a wonderful gift this would be to win!! Thanks Pioneer!!

Oh my gosh!!! I could so eat that!! I have been looking for Pioneer mixes here for a couple of weeks and I have found that all the stores around here have stopped selling it. What’s up with that? I would love to win this so I can try it and the easy biscuit recipe you had on here recently. Thanks for the chance. Sheila
I LOVE Pioneer biscuit mix. It works so well with so many recipes.
I usually make a breakfast casserole for Christmas morning with loaf bread. This will be soooo much better.
