Ooohhh lipstick! I don’t ever get to buy that. I have all boys, even the animals are boys. So most of my money is spent on things for BOYS. Did I mention there are a lot of boys in my house? Well, since this is kind of a Valentine’s Day give-a-way, I’ll tell my “romantic redneck husband” story. We hadn’t been married very long and I went to bed one night after my shower and a complete slathering of Queen Helene Cocoa Butter Lotion. It was supposed to help you keep your tan and I was all about keeping my tan back then. I crawled into bed and snuggled up to my husband who was about half asleep. He kind of moved closer to me put his nose in my neck and took a big whiff and said, “Mmmm, you smell good – you smell just like a freshly cleaned squirrel.”

Since we live on disability I haven’t been able to indulge in cosmetics hardly at all. Used to I never left the house with out the full makeup in place..lol. Now people just have to look at me as I am. But we are keeping the bills paid and food on the table and thats what really counts. And your recipes really come in handy for us as well as being delicious and reminding me of the way my family cooked when I was growing up…Keep up the greatttttttt work.
