Eek. Has anyone else noticed that a box of Nilla wafers is now 11 ounces, instead of 12? I didn't notice that until I got home. Any ideas of how to tweak the recipe to make it work with the new, lighter box of wafers?

Christy,

I made this cake a few weeks ago. It was so delicious. Try adding 1 1/2 to 2 sticks of melted butter to the mix! MMMM! My hubby asked me to make this weeks, so bought the vanilla wafers yesterday. Such a yummy cake.

So my niece made this cake recently for Thanksgiving and it was a HUGE hit! I decided to make for a co-wokers birthday seeing how easy it was to make and I already had all the ingredients at home. Well yet again, HIT!!! It was gone in 10 minutes and everyone wanted the recipe. Thanks so much for sharing!!
Merry Christmas to you and yours :)

I made it and it didn't really rise at all. It stuck to my bundt pan, but after letting it cool longer and running a spatula around it, it came out okay, just a little bit stuck to the pan. I love it!! I am not sure why mine doesn't look like your picture, but it's still good! You think it is possible I beat my eggs too much?? Thanks.

I made this cake and it turn out real pretty. It was however a bit heavy and spongy inside. It was rather humid that day. Could it have been the weather making it turn out that way. It had a good taste but was just not light like a cake should be. I did everything as per the recipe.

Thanks for this recipe! I can't wait to taste this! I just pulled 3 out of the oven! One just per the recipe and 2 with a cup of Chocolate Chips added. I'm a nut for chocolate, and I just know this combination with chocolate is going to be FANTABULOUS! Anxiously waiting on them to cool a bit before I turn them out of the tube pans..will post pics on my facebook..thanks and HUGS Christy!
