I love making coffee on Sat. ams at home when I get up early and have nothing to do but sip my warm steamy cinnamon duncan doughnuts coffee. Thats my favorite. I can relax and reflect on my week and for a moment there is a little sanity!!!

Hi and thanks for a wonderful site and all the fabulous food. I made your Better Than S_ _ Cake today and it was a big hit around our house. Been lookong around in here tonight trying to make up my mind as to what tomorrow’s dinner will be. There’so many great choices, I really could use a great cup of coffee bout now (wink):)

I’d love to make it seven days a week! Darn kids though, it isn’t enough that you bring ‘em into the world, they expect you to take care of ‘em too! lol
I am thinking of giving up sleep though. …

The only way to make Southern Plate better????? Make it 7 days a WEEK! I love all your wonderful recipes and the frugal tips! You are my kind of cook. Hubby said your ‘DishPan Cookies’ were the best cookies he has eaten in years! A plateful of them and a hot mug of coffee…..now that’s real Southern Comfort!
