I made these for my son's class for his birthday when you originally posted them in 2009, now we are embarking on year 3! He asks for them every year and they are such a cute idea.

I made eighty of these cupcakes last night for my children to take to school today. (I have four children and I made twenty for each of their classrooms.) They are so cute and we've gotten so many compliments! I'm going to make 45 more tonight for my own students to enjoy in class tomorrow. We're going to have wockets all over town!

BTW www.gamequarium.org has a great four-minute video of "There's a Wocket in My Pocket".

Will you post details of your cupcake holder? I would love to make one and would love to forgo all the "figuring" out what size holes, height etc. And how do you bake your "cone cakes" in so they don't fall over in the oven??

I would like to know how you made your icing so cute! Mine always looks like a colored blob on top of my cupcakes. Maybe my icing is too heavy so even in a piping bag, it settles into a mess. Have you posted any tutorials on how to properly ice a cake or cupcakes or perhaps you've given a recipe for a lighter icing? Any help would be much appreciated!
