Seattle’s Best BIG Coffee Giveaway!

Congratulations to Mattfam, Kevin, and David, our winners in this giveaway! I have sent a personal email with instructions to each winner with the subject line “Personal email from Christy, you won!”. Thank you for participating and stay tuned for more great giveaways!
Gratefully, Christy

Most of you know that I LOVE my coffee! The heat of summer doesn’t do anything at all to slow me down, either because I just mix up iced coffee then! When the folks at Seattle’s Best contacted me and told me they had special blends to make the most delicious iced coffee, I was a bit skeptical. I couldn’t understand how a certain blend would make better iced coffee than another.
Well Folks, I HAVE SEEN THE LIGHT!

I tried both of the iced coffee blends using the cold brew method (click here for an easy way to do that) and have been in coffee paradise ever since! I have been keeping a two quart pitcher filled with concentrate in my refrigerator and treating myself throughout the day. Seattle’s Best has me officially spoiled – and you deserve to be, too!
There are two special blends specifically made for the best iced coffee around. I am addicted, in a big way.
We also enjoyed the Seattle’s Best Blend brewed hot to get our morning started! I really love my coffee.
As a special treat for Southern Plate readers, Seattle’s Best is giving away THREE of the coffee sets pictured above!
Each set includes:
Saturday’s Blend is the late summer blend currently being promoted in cafes and online. The sharpness of East African coffee gives it a complex, layered flavor that is delicious hot, while the natural sweetness of Latin American coffee makes it the perfect summertime refreshment over ice.
Beach House Blend is our early summer blend sold exclusively in cafes and online. It has been a summer favorite since 1998 and is delicious brewed hot or served over ice. Made from a blend of Latin American coffees, Beach House Blend has a refreshingly mild citrus flavor, a sweet, delicate aroma and a smooth finish.
Seattle’s Best Blend is our best-selling and award-winning blend at Seattle’s Best Coffee, offering a bright flavor that we have been perfecting since we came onto the scene in 1970.
With these iced coffees, Seattle’s Best is taking the mystique out of coffee house concoctions and bringing it home to you in a much more affordable way. While people are cutting back on other things, you can actually indulge more by cold brewing your favorite coffee concoctions at home.
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below and tell me how YOU like YOUR coffee! THREE Winners will be chosen at random on Friday!

Oh and I’ll tweet it.
I love your cold brew method and have been using it since you 1st posted it. (I still get a grin from the idea of you running out to your mom’s car to give her a mason jar of it . . . I have relatives from the South & I know what liquid refreshment usually comes in mason jars.)
I’ve passed on your simple, delicious recipe to at least a dozen friends and now I need to try the spritzer recipe you just posted; I never, ever would have come up with it on my own but it does sound good, thanks!
Hey Southernplate!
I am newly in love with coffee. My sister just recently moved in next door to me, and she recently lost her car so since I am now taking her to work every morning, we bond over traffic issues (california traffic im sure u got a taste of it when u came for a visit)and coffee.
I love having her next door. I would love to share that coffee with her.
I love lots of cream and lots of sugar…and a little coffee! Growing up my Papa (I’m from Oklahoma) drank it every morning with honey and milk. He would then give me a large cup for myself and a stack of choc chip cookies to dunk!!! Mmmmm! Although now I love to dunk a doughnut, a cookie still rocks!
I like mine with cream and splenda
I love your iced coffee…it has saved me lots of money at you know where…so please I need all the coffee i can get..My hubby is active duty Navy..he loves his coffee.also..I will share with him though…Blessing’s

Hi Christy,
What a great giveaway!! Although I don’t like coffee hot I LOVE iced coffee!!! Thanks for the great recipes and I would love to try Seattles Best!
I cold brew my coffee too until my husband discovered it and found out that it tastes better cold brewed (even if he heats it up to drink it) than hot brewed, now I make him do it since all he would do is drink all of mine! We live in the Seattle area and like all good Washingtonians we have our favorite coffees and Seattle’s Best is one of them. I like mine coffee cold with chocolate milk and he likes his hot with creamer. Would love to try the different blends. Thanks.
I like my coffee hot, with heavy cream and sugar! Rachael Ray did a show in Seattle and said the coffee was awesome!
The Iced Cold Brewed Mocha Coffee sounds wonderful! I like my coffee with a hint of chocolate. Sorry to say that I have never tried Seattle’s Best, but looking forward to doing so. Thanks for the great recipes!
I like my coffee hot and fresh first thing in the morning. The aroma alone helps wake me up! I prefer just a bit of cream (1/2 and 1/2) and one sugar cube! Ahhhh!
I prefer hot, black coffee when I first wake up and then iced coffee with a little milk and sugar in the afternoon. Have to have my coffee!
Whether my coffee is hot or cold I love it with cream and Splenda.
I like my coffee, strong, iced and sweet!
I like my coffee mixed in ice cream
OR
HOT with LOTS of hot cocoa
OR
COLD with LOTs of french Vanilla
OR
As a milkshake!
I also like the beans as airfreshners!
I like my coffee any way I can get it. Iced or hot.
I drink coffee all day and everyday!!
I have never responded to a post before. But I felt your love of coffee and had to join in on all the great posts. I LOVE coffee. Hot, cold, black or with creamer. How ever I can get my hands on it. There’s times we can not afford it but it sure is a great way to sit on the porch and relax. I would love to try Seattles Best. Especially on my porch early in the morning by myself before the rest of the house wakes up. I can smell it already. Love your site it’s a bright spot on my day. Thanks Karen.
i love your cold brewing method its soo easy,i love my iced coffee with milk and and a little vanilla ,hoping to be a winner
Like it with milk or frozen slushy
Wow so many ways to enjoy coffee! I start my day at 4:50 am with a cup and I keep it going until about 11 am. So yummy I think coffee makes you smarter!!
Mmmmmm……coooooffffeeeeeee…….mmmmmmm!!! I am imagining your refrigerator…coffee jars, frozen peach jam jars…bags of cooked ground beef…lol. You are a fun lady to follow!! Anyways, I like my iced coffee with caramel syrup (the kind you put on ice cream) and lots of yummy creamers. Would love to try Seattle’s Best coffee.
I have recently turned “50″ and decided that I’m finally old enough to drink coffee, lol!!! I haven’t found any yet that I’m just crazy about so I keep buying different kinds and trying them out. People from church just brought back some from Dominican Republic and I thought surely I would like it best, but it wasn’t my favorite. I’ve never tried Iced Coffee and I’m looking forward to trying your recipes, if it is as good as all your other recipes, I’m sure I’ll love it!!! Thanks!!!
I love my coffee any way it comes! My favorite is to put mocha flavored in a blender with a little water, a little milk and a lot of ice and blend it all together! It is like dessert and really cools you down from the inside-out!
My hubby and I both love coffee to get us started everyday.
My daughter lives in the Seattle area, and is what we call, a coffee snob. Her coffee of choice? Seattle’s Best, of course.
I love it hot and black for breakfast, but like the iced mocha later in the day. Yummy!
oh, oh! Pick me! I love coffee any way you fix it! I’ve gotten hooked on your cold-brew method and have saved tons of $ this summer! (okay – so I’ve gained a few pounds, but I’ve SAVED money!!!)
Thanks!!!
I have tried your cold press method and love it!!! And it’s extra delicious using Seattle’s best! Adding a little caramel syrup makes mine perfection!!
I have enjoyed so much your ice coffee recipe and have kept a jar in the frig for ready fix – I’m not familiar with these coffees being down in S. La. but sure would love to try them and these wonderful recipes, thanks.
I prefer mine hot and black any time of day. My most wonderful husband likes iced coffee so I will try out some of these new recipes on him. Lucky guy! Thanks Christy
I LOVE iced coffee as much as I LOVE Southern Plate – thanks so much Christy for posting your cold brew method. Iced coffee keeps me cool during the day here in Louisiana. I look forward to all of your incredibly clever and interesting recipes – your website is among my absolute favorites.
Susie
I love my coffee, hot and black. I always say a good coffee can stand alone. When I was a kid, I used to add sugar and milk but now that I am all grown up I don’t want anything in the way of my pure coffee flavor. Seattle’s coffee definitely can stand alone. I just wish we had more Seattle outlets up here in the mountain country.
I love cold coffee and have been making it at home since you posted how to do the concentrate at home…..so grateful for that post. I have been using Seattle’s Best for a couple of years and LOVE IT!!!!!
What an awesome giveaway! My favorite grocery store used to have a Seattle’s Best kiosk in it but one day it went away. A cup of their coffee was my special treat at the end of the week. I would stop by there in the morning to celebrate. I’d always get a medium non-fat latte, with vanilla flavoring. Yum. My favorite iced coffee is coffee, ice and vanilla creamer. Good stuff. Thanks for the giveaway!
I like my coffee hot and sweet—but I’ve recently become a fan of the iced stuff too!
I usually drink my coffee at home with cream and sugar or I order a Hazelnut or Almond Mocha if I’m out. Normally I drink it hot but with all this hot weather we’ve been having lately, I’d love to try these iced coffees. As a mom of 4 kids including a 2 month old, I really could use the pick me up!
Thanks!

Ohhhh, this is a wonderful giveaway! I generally drink my coffee hot w/cream and sugar, however if I have a yen for it in the afternoon I like it iced. Every morning when I brew a pot of coffee my sons will have a cup of iced coffee also.
I did not know there was a cold brew method for coffee. Wow, there’s my new thing for the day. lol :~)
Thank you.
Blessings,
Kath M
I love frozen coffee. If its hot I like it flavored best.
Hot & black in winter, iced in summer, as long as it’s coffee I’ll drink it.Thanks for the new ideas on how to enjoy my coffee.
I love coffee, black and hot. No cream or sugar, please. I also like the flavored coffee…hazelnut, etc. I would truly enjoy trying Seattle’s Best.
I love my morning coffee to wake me up. But in the evenings I make my own specialties. Last night I had my coffee with vanilla syrup, cinnamon and almond flavoring. Really good too.
There is NOTHING that says “Good Morning” like that first sip of coffee…could not live without it!!!!!
Christy,
I love cofee. Hot and cold both. I have been drinking coffee since I can remember. I always have some every morning to start the day and all day long I drink it. First cup always hot. Then I drink it cold over ice. Being a Southerner myself from Mississippi I can’t survive without my coffee.
Thanks Darlene
With chocolate, please!
I would just love the opportunity to be introduced to Seattle Coffee. As a dedicated tea drinker I will need a really grand coffee to convert me and perhaps this is just the perfect opportunity! Thank you very much Christy for your wonderful email recipes and projects. You life my spirits and teach me so many things! mary
I like my coffee free!!!!!! Just kidding, I like my coffee at 0530 in the morning with my honey before he goes to work. I usually have coffee in one hand and a baby in the other with a bottle perfectly balanced in her mouth by my chin. Love my coffee!!!!
Coffee?!?! Me…gotta have it! 2 cups first thing in the morning. Lots of milk and CARNATION FRENCH VANILLA creamer too. Upon being introduced to someone, I always say…..”My name is half of the word TERRIfic or half of the word TERRIble, depending on if I have had my coffee yet….or not!
I love Seattle’s Best Coffee – so much better than Starbucks! I like my morning coffee hot with french vanilla sugar-free Coffeemate. During the summer my favorite is the same except poured over ice. I am excited about the cold brew method of making the concentrate!
I love black coffee with a splash of hazelnut liquor. Now, I know what ya’ll are thinking. I only like it with a SPLASH, not a shot. It gives it an extra taste kick which you don’t get with the syrup. YUM!
I love a really good cup of coffee but only if it is fresh brewed. I live in Pensacola FL but got hooked on West Texas Sunrise (chocolate & caramel) coffee from Abilene TX while visiting my daughter there last year. I would love to see if Seattle’s Best can whoo me away. I like to make my special cup of coffee in the evening in a 1 cup coffee pot that belonged to my mother. Can’t get any fresher than that!!! YUM! I know that Seattle beats Abilene in being a beautiful city so would love to win to get to try their coffee and see for myself how good it is.
Anne
I love coffee both hot and cold. It is very hard to get good iced coffee that isn’t filled with too many flavors and sugar.
So I usually stick with hot coffee until I cant stand it any longer.
I am supposed to be drinking decaf but havent tried it yet.
