Seattle’s Best BIG Coffee Giveaway!

Congratulations to Mattfam, Kevin, and David, our winners in this giveaway! I have sent a personal email with instructions to each winner with the subject line “Personal email from Christy, you won!”. Thank you for participating and stay tuned for more great giveaways!
Gratefully, Christy

Most of you know that I LOVE my coffee! The heat of summer doesn’t do anything at all to slow me down, either because I just mix up iced coffee then! When the folks at Seattle’s Best contacted me and told me they had special blends to make the most delicious iced coffee, I was a bit skeptical. I couldn’t understand how a certain blend would make better iced coffee than another.
Well Folks, I HAVE SEEN THE LIGHT!

I tried both of the iced coffee blends using the cold brew method (click here for an easy way to do that) and have been in coffee paradise ever since! I have been keeping a two quart pitcher filled with concentrate in my refrigerator and treating myself throughout the day. Seattle’s Best has me officially spoiled – and you deserve to be, too!
There are two special blends specifically made for the best iced coffee around. I am addicted, in a big way.
We also enjoyed the Seattle’s Best Blend brewed hot to get our morning started! I really love my coffee.
As a special treat for Southern Plate readers, Seattle’s Best is giving away THREE of the coffee sets pictured above!
Each set includes:
Saturday’s Blend is the late summer blend currently being promoted in cafes and online. The sharpness of East African coffee gives it a complex, layered flavor that is delicious hot, while the natural sweetness of Latin American coffee makes it the perfect summertime refreshment over ice.
Beach House Blend is our early summer blend sold exclusively in cafes and online. It has been a summer favorite since 1998 and is delicious brewed hot or served over ice. Made from a blend of Latin American coffees, Beach House Blend has a refreshingly mild citrus flavor, a sweet, delicate aroma and a smooth finish.
Seattle’s Best Blend is our best-selling and award-winning blend at Seattle’s Best Coffee, offering a bright flavor that we have been perfecting since we came onto the scene in 1970.
With these iced coffees, Seattle’s Best is taking the mystique out of coffee house concoctions and bringing it home to you in a much more affordable way. While people are cutting back on other things, you can actually indulge more by cold brewing your favorite coffee concoctions at home.
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below and tell me how YOU like YOUR coffee! THREE Winners will be chosen at random on Friday!

Became addicted to coffee a few years ago. I don’t like flavored coffees or creamers. I really love to use heavy cream instead of creamer. Yummmmm! There are a few recipes for some iced flavored coffee drinks that are terrific on a hot summer afternoon!
I like my coffee with hazelnut cream early in the morning, just as the sun is lighting the sky with pinks, lavenders, and golden summer Georgia sunshine. I like my coffee slowly sipped as I see the goats(including my little spoiled girl Miracle Eve) stepping out of the barn to head for the bottom green pastures.
I like my coffee early (I mean before the chickens get up) and with laughter shared by my FarmMan husband as we plan the day and get ready to box and send out the chicken nest boxes we made here on the farm.
Now my FarmMan husband likes his coffee all day, everyday, and lots of it.
Have a great day.
Pam
I love strong black coffee! Pure and simple
I love your cold brew method. I was excited when you told how to do it, since I had been wanting to make good iced coffee. Now, I keep some made all the time. I would love to try it with the Seattle’s Best. Thanks for all the recipes.
I LOVE iced coffee!
Great Taste! Great Boost!
I have to have my 3 cups of Joe in the morning!! I’d love to try it iced. will be checking out the cold brew recipe.
With sugar and cream
Christy, I like Columbian coffee, regular and decaf. I like it strong, with a touch of milk or half-and-half and no sugar!!
I’m a purest…I like my coffee black, no sugar.
Coffee has been one of my favorites all my life. My dad would hold me in his lap when I was a baby and spoon cool coffee into my mouth. I’ve been loving it for over half a century now.
I like my coffee with caramel or irish cream flavoring and a small bit of suger. I also like to have may coffee iced, with caramel or irish ceam flavoring and little bit of sugar.
Hi y’all,
I actually use the cold brew method “Toddy” system sold in the Seattle’s Best stores and it is about as easy as the mason jars.
I love it straight just with added hot water and sweetener to taste. Sometimes I add some non-dairy creamer, but sometimes…
I mix the concentrate 1:1 with Bolthouse Farms Vanilla Chai protein drink which I get from my local market. It is so good.
I could see making my own using vanilla soy protein powder, artificial sweetener, and soy milk (I am lactose intolerent), all whizzed up in a blender; with or without some ice for a slushy.
It would be great to get a win on the coffee giveaway!
Sounds delicious!!!! Would love to win this awesome prize!! Thanks!
I love iced coffee! It’s the best.
I like my coffee hot with REAL cream. It is my big indulgence for myself
I used to drink it black for a long time, and then when I occasionally went out to a restaurant they would have those little bowls with creamer in the,,,, so I started trying, including the flavored ones… I found I liked the plain ol’ 1/2 & 1/2 (real cream) the best. when I was young & uninformed I used to use the powdered creamers… no more, to full of sodium & who knows what! I’m a WI. girl!
Only Real cream will do it for me
the only way I like it cold is from a cafe’ shop, so it is more blended like a mocha I guess.
i make up a mixture of 1 cup dry milk, 1 cup dry creamer, 1/2 cup cocoa powder, 1/2 cup splenda blend (or 1 cup sugar). put a couple of tablespoons in my mug then fill with coffee.
i like my hot coffee this way and for iced coffee, i fix a mug of hot coffee, put it in the fridge then have over coffee ice cubes later (isn’t that what everybody does with their leftover morning coffee?).
i used to use nestle cocoa mix and land o’lakes fat free half and half in my coffee until i stumbled across the above concoction. this is a whole lot more economical and, since i know i’m savin’ $$$ every time i use it, it tastes better, too!
christy, i look forward to giving your cold press method a shot. i’ll let you know how it works out. i bet it would taste better made with some yummy Seattle’s best coffees i won from you!
i love your site so much, i’m campaigning to move to the south!
I love coffee, hot or iced.
When iced, I like it with hazelnut flavor and some half and half. McDs new iced coffee is just wonderful, and cheaper than the others.
When hot, I tend to drink it either light OR sweet, but not both.
When people look at me when I drink iced coffee, I say “and how is it any different from ice in tea?”
I Love Your Blog and read it everyday…..but sorry,I love coffee more and now that I have the ice coffee recipe I’m over the moon!!
Thanks For all the enjoyment!
Susan La Fave

I like to take black coffee and doctor it up. At Starbucks, I add chocolate powder, vanilla powder, and cinnamon. Yum.
Iced or hot, I just love it anytime!
Hey Christy, I sent my husband the directions for your cold brew coffee and HE LOVES IT! They don’t have a coffee maker over there and your method is easy, quick, and tasty. =) Thanks for your awesome recipes!!
My friends tease me, they say I like “Candy Coffee” because I like it with lots of cream and sugar! Seattle’s Best is indeed, Seattle’s Best!
My favorite coffee is Hazlenut….oh, it is so yummy!
But, I cannot drink any coffee without creamer and sugar, and not too strong either.
I don’t usually drink it in the afternoon, but I really love it after breakfast, and sometimes in the evening after supper.
I have to have my coffee first thing each and every morning with just a little bit of cream. I love my coffee!
To truly enjoy it, it’s gotta be fresh brewed Americano with only 2/3 of the water. No sugar, no cream, just good, strong, tasty black coffee. I settle for a really good grind of regular old coffee, but the extra espresso shots make the Americano just right for me. It doesn’t even keep me awake. I drink it for the taste. Love it!
I love coffee! I have it every morning, hot and black, no sugar or cream.
Hi!
I have to start my day with strong, hot coffee. Creamer and Splenda. I like most of flavored creamers, especially hazelnut.

I HAVE to have my coffee in the morning!!!! I like it just with a little half-n-half cream….no sugar, no flavoring of any kind! I’m not a big fan of cold coffee, but my daughter did introduce me to Tim Hortons Iced Capps last year and I have to say, I’m now loving them!!

I like mine with cream and splenda with chocolate syrup!!
Coffee is my ULTIMATE addiction! I have to take some jarred , cold brew concentrate with me to hotels just so I can make a good cuppa to have as soon as I wake up just so I can make it to Starbuck’s
( or some other similar establishment). I can drink it cold, hot, frothed ( or not), as part of a fancy drink, or just plain jane.
My favorite way is hot and strong with a couple of cream shots and 4 splenda packets…..I hope I win , cause my Cuisinart is hungry for some GREAT coffee!
I like it hot or cold and even on ice cream! I put it in my brownie and cake mixes and when there’s just a little left in the pot I just fill my cup the rest of the way with milk and it’s great! thanks for sharing !
