Tazo Tea Giveaway!

poulet-011

I’m excited to be able to offer a great giveaway from Tazo Tea! Of course, being my same old Southern self, when they sent me a huge box of their teas to try, I tried each blend iced! ~giggles~ Although I do enjoy hot tea from time to time, my folks just look at me like I’ve grown two heads when I tell them how good it is.

The incredibly nice folks at Tazo Tea want to give YOU a chance to try all of their teas also! They are offering a great gift package full of an assortment of teas (enough tea to keep you happy through the winter, I’ll bet!) along with this gorgeous glass pitcher made by Crate And Barrel as well as a Tazo Tea recipe book!

You’ll also receive a bottle of this fascinating sweetener. It tastes something like a mild honey and is completely organic. The neat thing is, it is a low glycemic sweetener, meaning it absorbs slower into your system to prevent sugar spikes in your blood.

I love this stuff and can’t wait to hear back from the winner how they like it, too!

I’ve really enjoyed getting to know Tazo’s products and am excited to offer a lucky reader a chance to do the same. They are available pretty much everywhere if anyone would like to try them out!

Tazo’s Mission: To bring you the most intriguging tea in the modern world, on the strength of artful blending, distinctive taste, and the use of only premium quality teas and botanicals. In other words, a tea unlike any you have ever tasted before.

To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below and tell me how you like to drink your tea.

Do you prefer it iced or hot? Cream or sugar? What blends are your favorite? Me, I’m an orange pekoe gal but sometimes I like to break it up a bit with a little Earl Grey, which is also excellent over ice!

Can’t wait to hear back from you! I’ll draw a winner this Saturday evening and send out an announcement to all of my email subscribers as well as list it on this post!

I am truly a southern tea girl! I start the morning with several great big cups of Bigelow Plantation Mint, STRAIGHT and hot! I drink it from a huge Portmeirion Botanical Garden soup cup! LOL (Love those flowers and herbs too and it’s a little treat to start the day with the lovely spearmint taste in the beautiful big cup every morning) From there, I go right on to iced unsweet with 3 lemons, usually from McAlister’s and drink it right through the day. I love to finish off the evening with Tazo Chai and milk! Yummy! I love sweet tea too but had to give up the sugar! Would love to try the sweetener.

I *love* Tazo Tea! Probably “Meditation” and “Zen” are my favorites…. today. ;)

How I drink them depends upon which I’m drinking…. but I’m a hot tea gal.

  8. Missy

Red Diamond, super sweet, with lemon, over ice…..it doesn’t get much better that that!!! I’ve considered branching out and trying something new, but haven’t taken the opportunity yet. So, I would just love to try this!!!

Love hot tea! I’m trying to learn to drink it with less sugar…but that really hasn’t happened yet! LOL! I have bought loose tea a few times and I really like it but one time when I was in a store and the lovely clerk was trying to help me pick and she kept showing me different green and white teas and I told her that I had figured out the last time I was there that I really preferred the black teas. She laughed and said “ahhh….you are just after the caffiene”. Now who knew that black tea had more caffiene…not I.

  12. Carrie

I love green tea with roasted brown rice. I drink it with cream and sweetner. Not the best way, but it’s good when I have a sweets craving.

  13. Lee Ann Samons

I love sweet iced tea with no lemon.

  14. Janie

  20. Tracy Crews

Iced and Sweet! Tried to order this once in Illinois and they thought I was ordering champagne (Asti). Must be my distinct southern drawl! Later was told Iced Tea is a seasonal drink???Right?!

  21. Miss Sara

I’m with Mama Belle-sweet tea is my very favorite—however I will occasionally drink a flavored cup of hot tea(green tea or a fruit flavor)

  22. Jan S in TX

I like my tea…hot with cream and sweetener on cold days OR iced, lightly sweetend, with a hint of lemon on warm/hot days.

  23. Marie

I like it hot and plain, without any additives like sugar or milk.

  24. I like my tea with a little sugar, and I’ll pass on the lemon, unless we are at the restaurant, then I use it to wipe the glass, I don’t like straws!

  25. Melissa

When making tea for a few, I use the instrucitons for sweet tea you posted and use Lady Grey tea, it has a more citrusy flavor.

When making tea for a crowd I make ice chest tea. It has lots of fresh lemon, limes, oranges, and sometimes strawberries. I spoiled my church by making ice chest tea for several consecutive pot lucks and now I am expected to make nothing else.

  26. JoAnn

I love Tazo Chai tea! I always add a little milk and a small amount of honey. I love all kinds of tea. Thanks.

  27. Miss Bug

This southern lady likes her iced tea sweetened (with splenda). I use Luzianne and sometimes I add a bag of hibiscus mint as well. So good!

  28. Rachel

I love sweet tea the best, but English or Irish breakfast is good in the winter with milk and sugar! I’d be great to try some Tazo tea.

  29. Maryb Erwin

I drink a pot of green tea, hot, with just a bit of local honey every morning. I prefer iced black tea later in the day, again with just a bit of honey. My kids love a cup a of hot chamomile at night before bedtime.
A pet peeve I have is when a restaurant serves old tea-the off flavors are too awful!!!

  30. Sonya M.

I love Tazo’s chai tea! With cream and Splenda! Mmm… Their gunpowder green and jasmine are pretty good, too! I don’t like Starbucks coffee so the rare times that I go there, I get Tazo Tea!

I bought some agave a couple of weeks ago and tried it for the first time last weekend. You’re right, it is sort of honey-like!

  31. donnaS

Hot green tea with honey and lime…so good

  32. sheila

I love iced tea, I’m trying to acquire a taste for it hot.

  33. This is a fantastic giveaway! I love tea! My favorite, which I’ve recently been having more of now that I live in the South, is sweet iced tea! I like black tea and mint tea too, sweet mint tea is so refreshing on a hot day!

  34. I love sweet iced tea with lemon. As for hot tea, right now I am in love with green tea with pomegranate — so good!!!

  35. Carole

I love tea, hot or cold, and Tazo tea is prime. Their breakfast blend will wake up the most dedicated coffee drinker. And Passon is an excellent iced tea.

  36. Tammy Hall

I like my tea with lots of Sugar and ice!

  37. KayF

    Hi Christy,
I just love your website, keep telling all my friends about it! I haven’t posted anything before but just had to tell you that here in southern Missoury tea is our family’s choice of drink any time. Hot, cold, even lukewarm…Nothing better than a cold glass of sweet tea on a hot summer day, sitting on the porch swing visiting with friends. Or a cool fall day wrapped up in an old quilt on the porch swing, reading a book and sipping a cuppa hot tea. Straight up sweet tea, no milk or lemon please.
Looking forward to trying out more of these great recipes of yours :) Kay

  38. June

First of all, I’m an iced tea girl. I LOVE the Tazo Zen green tea! Fell in love with it at Barnes & Noble and finally asked them what it was. Of course being a good Southern gal, I can’t go wrong with Luzianne, sweetened with Splenda :-)

  40. Deb

My absolute favorite is black tea (English Breakfast, Early Grey or Lady Grey) with cream and sugar. Yum Yum!

  41. Caitlin

Hot tea was the one thing that kept me sane during my pregnancy which included 28 weeks of vomit!! Hot with ginger and a shot of honey :)

And I love it, all types, black tea, green tea, fruity teas (my faves), etc, etc, etc.

I’ll love to get the chance to try every single Tazo tea…they are amazingly good!! ;)

  45. Tiffany

  46. Lynn

Being from deep in the heart of Texas I love my tea sweet and iced! I usually use Stevia and would love to try the Agave sweetener. Wonderful giveaway!

    Lynn

  47. Kelli

Here in central Texas I LOVE my tea, sweet with lots of ice and sometimes fresh squeezed lemon, in the summer, then hot, the same way in the winter.

  48. Gina

Oh how I love tea! Hot, iced, I’ll even drink room temp tea lol. My kids love it, my hubby loves it… it must be sweet tea though. I will occasionally freeze it as well so that when we add ice its won’t water it down.
I must be honest though, when I make a pitcher for iced tea I always drink a glass while its still warm… usually while the kids are off playing quietly and I can take a minute (yes a full minute!) of me time ;)

  49. Donna

I love sweetened ice tea. My mother-in-law, however; loves hot tea. This would make a great gift for her.

    Happy tea drinking!

  50. Karen

I love my Lipton’s tea cold, very cold, with lemon Kool-Aid mixed in (dry).
