Christy, I am glad to see you involved with the needy. I donate to Packages fron Home, and Toys for Tots. I also bake 30 dozen cookies each year and sponsor an underpriviledged child through the Circle of Love. We are having the Circle of Love on Dec 2nd this year.

Please make the crockpot dressing with the Dixie cornbread, readers! They are so good! My stepmother said that this recipe is better than my paternal grandmother’s recipe, which says a lot. Also, by using the crockpot, you don’t have to take up room on the stove! Just place the crockpot in another room, if you need more counter space in the kitchen.

Thanks for a great recipe, Christy! Everyone in my family is waiting eagerly for me to make this dressing this Thanksgiving. They still remember it from last year.
