Krista...I searched high and low as well and Kroger had them but in a Hershey's display not down the candy or baking aisle.

This is the BEST fugde I have ever made. Mine never quite tasted right and I did chocolate and cinnamon and can't get enough of the stuff.

Hey Christy - I know you don't need fudge advice from me since YOU are the expert, but just wanted to share something with you that I read online a couple of years ago and it really works. If you add your marshmallow creme and stir it really good until it melts before you add in your chocolate chips, for some reason the fudge stays creamy longer without drying out. Also, if you cook it only 4 minutes instead of 5 (I never use the candy thermometer - just always go 4 minutes) it is a little softer, but also doesn't get so dry in the next couple of days. Merry Christmas to you! My Brady will be 23 on Monday. I miss him at the stage your Brady is now! ;-(

Last year was my first attempt at fudge. It tasted good, but was "runny", it didn't set like I see fudge. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong?

Just to add another twist for you....I use White Chips and add crushed up oreos's to make the kids favorite flavor. We make 5-7 flavors of fudge every year. I am debating layering flavors for a different look.
