Took my baby boy to camp today. He’s growing up so fast!! Old enough to go to senior teens week now. What will I do all week? HA! Now I’ll know if what my girls say is true. They blame a messy house on him!

  16. Tammy

I was at a car dealership for 3 hours on Friday and 4 hours on Saturday. I am mentally exhausted!!! But I got a good deal (if you can say that about car salesmen) LOL

  17. what a weekend! My 5 year old daughter and I finished up a weeklong vacation visiting friends in Yankee country, Cincinnati! but hey, they have Skyline chili and Graeter’s ice cream, so the trip was not a bust!!
We drove 12 hours in the car (fog, rain, construction–ugh!) with lots of singing and talking and solving the problems of the world–but we were kind of sick of each other after 12 hours!!!
She did enjoy her first trip to K&W cafeteria and thought it was a blast to pick out her food and get it immediately!
Daddy was certainly glad to get his girls home safely!

Our plans for the weekend – as soon as I get home from work – change into comfy clothes and hop in the car with hubby and doggy and head to our RV which is parked in a private area with about 30 to 40 of our good friends – just eating all kinds of good food that we each share in preparing – play some card games, dice games, dance a little and again – share good food. I am so excited to be signed up onto your website and get the daily emails and recipes. I have already been sharing them with my friends at camp and they are so excited to see what I come up with next for snacks. Thanks for sharing – love your website.

  19. Stephanie Grant

We plan on working on remodeling our house.

Our weekend plans include two meals with two different groups of special people. On Saturday, we’re having dinner with some cousins from out-of-state that we don’t see too often. The menu includes beef brisket (my brother’s cooking it), green beans, “Lipton potatoes”, corn, butterpeas, canteloupe and cranberry & apple salad (my mama is cooking all of the rest). On Sunday, we’ve been invited to the home of some of our church folks that we see all the time. The menu includes meatloaf, chicken casserole, corn, green beans, coca-cola salad, turnip greens, mac & cheese, canteloupe and fried okra. The best part (besides the good company) is all I have to do is help clean-up!

  21. Courtney

My 2 year old had his Elmo birthday party yesterday!!

  22. CAROL WELSH

Went to our daughters home for a weiner roast. Always good when you can
spend time with family and friends!

  23. Marsha

We had a family reunion and had every kind of noodle salad you could think of. Brownies cookies and really strong coffee for desert. I made your bruschetta recipe with day old French bread so as people could scoop out and place it on the bread them selves. I let it marinate for 2 days. I did not use the cheese (takes away from the great flavors) used olive oil because it adds to the taste and better for good cholesterol reasons… did not toast or bake it, if I did add cheese it would have been fresh parmesan.

  24. Jennifer I.

I’m making your Vanilla Wafer cake with my daughter and a little neighbor girl. They love smashing the cookies!

  25. Kim

Had a great mini-vaca at the beach this weekend! I love living in the south! :)

Thank goodness I got some house work done and managed to have a good time and good food too! We had friends over for dinner with on Saturday night (curry roast chicken- yum!) then went out on the town. He decided to have a fishing themed party so we should have about a dozen kids fishing, eating pizza, playing games and eating cupcakes that will be decorated with a fishing pole with a fish on the line. Should be fun!!

  44. Paige

Nohing major. Just hanging out at the house. Thanks for the giveaway!

  45. MommyV

Letting my little one get his nap in since he woke up early today. He fell asleep before dinner last night and woke up before bedtime with a fever. Most likely from his MMR shot at his 15 month visit last week. I touched base with his doctor and she said that’s probably exactly what it is. I’m so glad he’s feeling better today! Big Brother’s off for a trial of summer session at his preschool tomorrow to get him back into the swing of things before preshcool starts back officially in 2 weeks.

  46. Linda M

I was at the beach this past weekend! Gulf Shores was nice, by the way…but hot. We had a great time!
