I loved the bit about the one Southerner in pink rollers to interview after a tornado – the news people do that around here. Find the one person who has obviously just rushed out without makeup or taking their rollers out or something embarrassing then ask them all about their opinions on whatever whilst the poor woman is dying of embarrassment – just thinking about what the neighbours will say…
There are many connections between the Southern states and Northern England and this is another.
