Five Favorite Supper Recipes from Facebook!

We’re all a little under the weather this week and planning the big Southern Plate cooking show at UNA on top of it. So today I thought I’d bring you a selection of five favorite recipes from our Southern Plate Facebook Family. A while back I asked for your favorites and everyone chimed in to create an extensive list! Thank you so much to everyone who contributed.

Seems like we all could use some new supper ideas from time to time so I hope these will come in handy for ya!

Gratefully,

Christy

Bama steak sandwiches

Deli meat is the basis for this quick and easy throw together meal.

Grilled Chicken Tenderloins (without the grill)

A family favorite.. Can you believe these are made in a skillet?

Slow Cooker Meatloaf

Flat Christy brought this one all the way back from Texas with her! It’s a keeper!

Dirty Rice

My kids and I dearly love this meal in one dish.

Hobo Packets

These are so easily customizable for the whole family and with great cleanup!

Dirty Rice reigns supreme in my house as our hands down favorite one dish meal! I think it’s time to bring that one to the front of the rotation this week!

You all take good care, Christy, and don’t get yourself or the young’uns run down. You’re going to need all the energy and good health you can find over the next few weeks! So happy for you!

Christy, I hope you and yours are well soon. The ragweed here inTejas is makin’ everyone miserable. Thanks sooo much for all of the wonderful recipes; reading your sight is like walking through an antique mall. It reminds me of special dishes and memories of my own maw-maw and grandma. Have a Blessed Day!

thanks Christy for more great meals in a minute! Hope the Jordan clan gets well soon – maybe it is the pre-tour nerves and the anxiety reving up for hubby, Katy Rose and Brady —Mom is going on a roadshow…..what will we do? :-)
