I forgot to add I am planning to make and can some salsa using the recipe you shared a link to on the Fiesta Chicken post. I have never canned, but I am looking forward to making this. We love salsa, and your recipe sounds like one we would love. I am waiting until I have a free day starting in July to make it. I'll let you know how it turns out. My Mama used to can all the time in the summer. This was a project I thought my daughters and I could do together.

Thank you, Christy, for all the slow cooker recipes. I have all day classes on Tuesdays this summer. I am so tired when I get home from sitting in class all day listening to lectures and walking all over campus. I really having something in the slow cooker on those days so dinner is ready when I get home. I made your Cheesy Chicken and Rice last Tuesday, and my husband and my daughter loved it. I am making the Fiesta Chicken tomorrow. I usually do a pork tenderloin and make BBQ with the McCormick Slow Cooker Pulled Pork seasoning pack. I plan to make that soon and make your Chicken and Wild Rice. Thank you for sharing, and if you have more, please share! I'm loving having these recipes for these busy days.

Christy one of my favorite all time frozen meals is the Banquet Grandma's Chicken-n-Rice! I'vebeen looking for a recipe to make a dish similar to this one. I believe your recipe is the answer!! I can't wait to try this one. And I really can't wait to get your cookbook. Everyone has such good things to say about it. I collect cookbooks too....especially the southern cookbooks because my mother is a true southerner. I know yours will be a good one!! Thanks again for being true to the art of cooking and making it easy!!! That's what I really love! They're easy and simple and turn out so good!!!

So my momma had the blue & white Corel plates when I was growing up. I love my momma's cooking and even everything on that plate looks like something my momma would make! :)

My sister and I got married 2 years apart but we still picked out the exact same Corel plates that are white/light blue/green/yellow. I don't know why, but I bond over these kind of things! :) Glad to see that plate again!
