I love that you let your kids touch your tree. It’s their Christmas too and I think you are blessing them by letting them touch it and “mess it up” (according to some of my northern friends). Make the memories now. You’ll have time in a few years when your tree will be perfect.
You know, I did picture you as being a colored lights on the tree kind of gal! LOL Me, too! White lights are pretty, but colored ones are more interesting!
I HAVE to know where you got the star for the top of your tree! I have been looking for one large enough for our tree to replace the angel that is falling apart.
