Southern Living Quick Fix Tuscan Pork Chops (video)

You know, the coolest thing for me about filming all of these Quick Fix Supper videos at Southern Living was getting to work with all of the wonderful people there. That was such an honor. The second coolest thing, though, was getting to taste all of the food!

These Tuscan Pork Chops were a favorite of mine and I cannot tell you how many times I’ve made the Chicken Tacos. I keep the chicken precooked in my fridge now so I can throw together a quick lunch whenever I’m on the go. Click here to visit my chicken taco video on SouthernLiving.com (and see the coolest tip ever at the end!).

Not really big on pork chops in a liquid but this makes me rethink doing them this way. Thanks for a new idea! Plus, love the beautiful dishes. I am BIG on serving my food in platers, trays, bowls that are part of the SL collection. I have 4 cabinets of dishes but need that beautiful blue tray you presented the chops on! Glad to see the 2 great connections…Southern Plate and Southern Living…that’s a natural!

Christy, you are as smooth as silk as you instruct us throughout this video. What a nice job you did for Southern Living here! And the pork chops made a beautiful presentation on the platter. These are sure to be delicious and I am eager to make these for my family soon. Pssst, putting the garnish on top was perfect too! ~winks~

  10. Well these look delicious! I’d have to leave the Capers out tho. We aren’t very fond of them. Love the tomatoes on top tho….mmmmm….I bet my home grown tomatoes would be great on this! Thanks Christy! You just look so beautiful as always! Hope you’re having fun with all those kids around for Brady’s birthday! :)

So easy. My 14 year old daughter watched your video with me and said “I can do that”..so she is going to make dinner for us tomorrow!!

Wow! You must be a mindreader, Christie! I took pork chops out of the freezer last night so they would thaw out, but I didn’t know what I was gonna do with them. But I sure do now that I watched your video! Thanks so much! Can’t wait to try this recipe!

Made it tonight. It was really good!

  15. Holy Cannoli Sista! I made these (added a little smoked paprika to the flour) & I got nothing but compliments from my family.

Both my husband & 17 yo said it was delicious. My 4yo ate it but his palate is more aligned with chicken nuggets or spaghetti. I took the left overs to work the next day, told everyone about this easy peasy recipe & after they smelled it, every one was on me like white on rice. It was even better the next day.

    OMG! Yummers!

    Thank you so much.
This is now in my cooking regime!

This is definitely a keeper recipe. Used pork the first time, and last night I used boneless chicken breasts instead and the results were yummy.

I Tried this out but I changed it due to what I had around the kitchen. I used Italian dressing instead of the balsomic vin, and then I also used homemade salsa instead of tomatoes. Very good!!!!
