I just clicked over from Pinterest to check out how you keep your fruit with OJ and really enjoyed your post so much that I had to let you know.
I just made this for a snack for my when my granddaughters come over this afternoon. It is DELICIOUS! the very slight tang in the background from the cream cheese just puts it over the top! This isn't just a kids dip, adults will like it too. Thanks for sharing! :)

Southern Butter Roll:
Please send recipe on email that I can print. My mother made this all my growing up years. She did not put cinnamon or nutmeg in hers and it was so wonderful. She passed away in 1983 and did not leave the measurements. I can remember how because I helped her make it so many times.
i saw it listed but I could not print it out.

Can't wait to try this. I always use Neufchatel cheese instead of crream cheese. It has less fat in it but tastes just as good. I keep small cans of pineapple juice on hand to use on fruit to keep it from turning brown. Taste isn't altered. It's good to have a variety of different thing in mind and we can use what we have on hand. Salt and water are always available in our kitchens but the coke (i.e. lemon-lime - I'm Southern, too!), lemon juice, orange juice, etc. work well, too.

I was surprised you didn't use a natural peanut butter. Is there a reason as in viscosity? Linda
