The signs are fun.
I have one in the bedroom that says, “Dwell in Possibilities” and one in the office that says, “You miss 100% of the shots you never take.” However, my favorite is a homemade one from three of my grandchildren that is shaped like a star and covered with sticker stars and says, “Our Gran Is a Star.”

Double sided carpet tape is great to put on your furniture to keep the cats from ripping it up. It’s sticky on both sides and the cats eventually get the message to stay away. Not so attractive, but it keeps the furniture intact.

Girl, how did I not find you sooner!!! I am LOVING your website. Found you by googling a “strawberry pie” recipe. Voila, here you were all along! My baby sister is flying up from TN today to come visit me and my family on cape cod. I swear I am southern at heart even though I grew up here in MA (my dad and his family are all from TN). I plan to tear this website up and cook up loads of yummy food like only the southern can make! Thank you so much for sharing this piece of paradise. By the way, I LOVE LOVE LOVE this idea of a “diner” off the house. My kids would go bananas for this! And the signs are amazing – I just love them!

What a cool thing to do , anything diner related always looks good. We have the same phone as you in our kitchen although its cream rather than black. Luckily we had a handful of american coins left over from a trip last year so we can “pay” for our calls!
