    i read abouve the contests close July 13th that date has come and gone but i’d still like to wish you well on your new adventures …. you have some awesome recipes and most of them i was raised on by a wonderful mother that could and still can cook anything you want. You make me think of HOME when i view your wonderful recipes. God bless you.

    so disappointed. . .I signed up for the free debut issue and they sent me july/august instead .:( wanted to see your article before deciding whether to continue the subscription, and now will just have to buy it. not happy.

    Really need a new mixer, I have been using the same hand mixer for about 15 years. I used it today to make a cake. Jusk KNOW that if I have a stand mixer, I would make everything from scratch, every day, three meals a day, including snacks and dessert. :-)

    Love, love, love Southern Plate and all you do to make it great! I “found” you after seeing an article in Alabama magazine (that I picked up by mistake)…lo and behold the green bean recipe. I have shared it with all my family and friends and everyone loves it! Of course, you got all the credit! A day doesn’t go by that I don’t find one of your recipes. And, after 64 years I have finally made a biscuit from scratch after watching your tutorial. Yes, I had the recipe right but they have always been hockey pucks. My husband says THANK YOU, Christy! (I won’t tell him about Pioneer biscuits! (giggle!). Saturday I put up pints of your corn relish and those little pints are just too pretty to eat! THANKS!!!

    Left one when we were supposed to but forgot to hit enter so it didn’t stay .Couldn’t figure out why at the time. Love your column,recipes,and stories.
    Reminds me of things my mother used to talk about. I could certainly use that one gift. It could be my right hand. I have arthritis so bad that it is hard to stir or chop.!
