My nudge story – One day I was walking through the Walmart parking lot and saw an older lady unloading her groceries from her buggy. Something told me “Offer to take her buggy for her.” Such a little thing but I felt it so strongly, I couldn’t just ignore it. When I did offer she smiled so brightly and said “I was praying to the Lord that someone would do that for me!” I felt so blessed that I had listened to that voice. Coincidence, no way. It’s amazing how the Lord will use us to answer someone’s prayers if we only listen

Christy, that’s such a sweet story, almost too intimate to share. It brought tears to my eyes. I will keep it in mind when I finally have kids! And the pork chops look great With my luck, I would char them in the process of trying to get them cooked on the inside. Maybe I will try with thin pork chops.

Chfristy, the Blackened Pork Chops are Deeelicious! I fixed them for our Labor Day Lunch along with the Mozzarella Garlic Potatoes and the meal was a hit. Afterward I asked my husband if the recipes were keepers and he said “Absolutely!” So they have been filed in my recipe file, waiting to be used another time. Thanks again for sharing!

Made the loin chops and the garlic mashed potatoes earlier in the week when I first saw them. Real moist and tender.

Oh my goodness, Christy! Bless your darlin’ southern heart, I cooked this today using chicken tenders, it was wonderful. I served it with butter peas and mashed sweet potatoes seasoned with minced chipotle peppers (Alton Brown recipe). Best lunch I have had in a long time.
