  1. Hands down the funnest time me and my kids have together every year is cooking and decorating christmas cookies.

  2. When I was growing up ,we didn’t have any money at all. My mama used to make huge bowls of popcorn. She then boiled a Karo Syrup, sugar, butter, salt, and water mixture to make a syrup. This was poured into the popped popcorn. We formed these into snowball sized balls and wrapped them in colored celophane. These were our ornaments for the Christmas tree, and what a treat it was on Christmas morning! I continued this for many years with my own children! Ok, writing this is making me want to go make some~

  3. I love the sweet reminders of my pawpaw when I would spend the night with him and my grandma. We would wake up together, very early and make breakfast. Scrambled eggs, grits, toast, sausage, and fried bologna. What a great memory to have with one the most caring, loving, men that I was so blessed to meet and have him be a part of my life.

  4. We love making old fashioned sugar cookies as a family! The kids love it and it is a tradition! It is a wonderful way to spend time together, having fun!

  5. My favorite recipe is Chicken Quesadillas. We all LOVE this recipe and we have a good time making it together as a family. Family table time is very important in our house. Even if we have a early baseball practice we eat EARLY so we can have our time!
