Cook chicken breasts in a skillet with garlic on medium heat until fully cooked. Let them cool, then slice.
Arrange salad on plates with mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, torn basil, and avocado.
Slice chicken and place on top of salad.
For the Balsamic Honey Dressing, whisk together honey, balsamic vinegar, mustard, salt, pepper, and garlic in a small bowl.
Gradually add oil while whisking until well combined and smooth.
Transfer dressing to a mason jar with a lid, shake well, and drizzle over salad as desired. Dressing can be stored in the refrigerator.
