Cherry Chocolate Brownie Cupcakes

– Cherry pie filling – Semi-sweet chocolate chips – Cream cheese – Heavy whipping cream – Maraschino cherries with stems

Preheat oven to 325°F and line muffin pan with cupcake wrappers.

Melt butter and chocolate chips together, set aside to cool.

Whisk eggs and sugar in a bowl, add flour and vanilla, then fold in cooled chocolate mixture.

Fill cupcake wrappers 2/3 full and bake until toothpick comes out clean.

Let cool before filling and frosting.

For filling: scoop hole in cupcakes, spoon cherry filling inside.

For frosting: beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth, add heavy cream and vanilla, beat until stiff peaks form.

Pipe frosting onto cupcakes.

Top with chocolate shavings and maraschino cherry.
