Lemon Meringue Pie With Condensed Milk and Wafers

Eggs Sweetened Condensed Milk Bottled or Fresh Lemon Juice Vanilla Wafers Sugar Margarine

For the crust, crush 40 vanilla wafers and mix with melted margarine and sugar, then press into a pie plate.


For the filling, blend sweetened condensed milk, lemon juice, and egg yolks with an electric mixer until smooth, pour into the crust, and top with meringue.


For the meringue, whip egg whites with sugar until soft peaks form, spread over the pie, and bake.


Cool completely and refrigerate before serving if desired.
