Sour Cream Hash Brown Casserole


  • 2 pound package frozen cubed hash browns
  • 16 ounce carton sour cream full fat is best
  • 1 can cream of celery cream of chicken works, too
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup Ritz cracker crumbs eat the rest of the box yourself, it’s a sacrifice but I believe in you!


  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • In large bowl, combine all ingredients except the cracker crumbs. Stir well until combined.
  • Spoon into greased 9x13 casserole dish. Sprinkle cracker crumbs evenly over the top.
  • Bake for 40 minutes, or until bubbly.
