Place all ingredients in the crock pot except cream cheese. Cook on high for 3 hours or on low for 7 hours.
1 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts or tenders, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1 .6-ounce packet Italian dressing mix, 1 tablespoon minced garlic cloves, 1/4 cup unsalted butter
Add cream cheese (cut into cubes), stir, and cook for an additional 30 minutes or until cream cheese melts (no lumps). Stir with a wooden spoon to break up the chicken (this will be easy to do).
