Ingredients
1poundlean ground beefuncooked
12ouncebag frozen stew mix or gumbo mixgumbo mix that has okra in it and is my favorite
12ouncebag frozen butter beansbaby lima beans, or veggie of your choice
1small onionchopped
29ouncecan crushed tomatoes
2cupsbeef brothcan use two cups water and two beef bullion cubes
2cupswater
1package ranch dressing mix1 ounce package*
1package Italian dressing mix.7 ounce package*
Instructions
Place all ingredients in 6 quart slow cooker except beef. Using your hands, pinch off bite size pieces of beef and drop into slow cooker. Beef doesn’t have to be uniform or done a certain way, it just needs to be in smaller pieces.
Stir everything. Cook on low, 7-8 hours or on high, 3-4.
Notes
I buy the boxes of ranch and Italian dressing mix that has three or four envelopes in it and use one envelope per recipe. It’s cheaper to buy it this way.
