1cupself-rising flour
3/4cupsugar
2tbspunsweetened cocoa powder
1/2cupmilk
1tspvanilla extract
2tbspvegetable oil
3/4cupbrown sugar

1 3/4cuphot tap water

Instructions
Mix together the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, and cocoa. Then add the wet ingredients: milk, vanilla, oil, and nuts (if using). Mix well and then pour into a greased 8x8 baking dish.
