What You Need to Make Cheese Wafers

ButterRegular paprika or smoked paprikaGround cayenne pepperBorden sharp cheddar cheeseKosher saltAll-purpose flour

Let cheese and butter come to room temperature. Combine all ingredients in a bowl to make dough with the consistency of cookie dough


Knead the dough, then form one-inch balls and place them on an ungreased baking sheet. Slightly press down on each ball with a fork.


Bake at 400°F for 15 minutes until lightly browned. Optionally, dust with paprika. Let them cool and store in an airtight container.
