3eggslarge
1/2cupmilkwarmed
1/2cupall-purpose flour
1tbspsugar
2tspvanilla extract
1/8tspsalt
powdered sugarto dust
Instructions
Place iron skillet into cold oven and preheat to 425 degrees.
While preheating, prepare the batter.
In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, warmed milk, flour, sugar, vanilla, and salt until all lumps are gone. Set aside until oven is ready.
Once preheated, remove the pan from the oven and place the butter into the pan to melt. Spread the butter so it covers the bottom. Pour the batter into the pan, do not mix into the remaining butter.
Place the skillet into the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, until sides are golden brown. Remove from the pan and serve immediately.
