1/2teaspoononion powder
12slider bunsHawaiian rolls or dinner rolls
4-6slicescheddar or American cheese
12pickle slices
1/4cupketchup
1tablespoonyellow mustardoptional
2tablespoonsmelted butter
1teaspoonsesame seedsoptional
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Optional: Line the dish with parchment paper before spraying for easy removal.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until fully browned. Drain excess grease and remove from heat.
Without separating the rolls, slice the entire slab of buns horizontally. Place the bottom half in the prepared baking dish.
Evenly spread the cooked beef over the bottom buns. Layer cheese slices on top of the meat. Place a sliced pickle on each slider (if using). Drizzle ketchup and mustard over the cheese layer. Place the top half of the buns on top.
Brush the tops of the buns with melted butter. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake an additional 5–7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
Use a sharp knife to cut the sliders apart. Serve warm.
