  2. I have all my moms cast iron skillets and use them every day. I have one that is just right for cornbread. I use Martha White white corn meal, just not the sweet

  4. My southern gentleman loved cornbread – hot with butter and cold with milk. He is gone now but I still make it now and again and simply love cookbooks — have two of yours already Christy

  5. Can’t call yourself a Southern Girl without a go to cornbread recipe, preferably handed down from your grandmother or great-grandmother! My dad ate cornbread in buttermilk every Sunday for as long as I remember…God bless him!

    trying this one in the not too distant future, for sure!
