  6. There is no flour to compare with White Lily!! I am from Alabama, married a Nebraska farm boy, and for the past 36 years I have lived in Nebraska. When I go home to Alabama I stock up on White Lily.
    Once at the B’ham airport, when checking in my bags, the ‘checker’ said what do you have in there ? I replied 9 – 5lb bags of White Lily self-rising flour. She laughed and told her counterparts to come ‘look at this’.
    I do miss White Lily self-rising corn meal as well. Yumm.. I am getting hungry… I need some good biscuits and cornbread !! I am currently out of White Lily flour and meal but will be going home sometime in March so I will pick up some bags then. Those first biscuits are always the best ! BTW… do they still make White Lily Grits ? I couldn’t find them the last time I was home. Does anyone know ?
