  1. I am always amazed at what my stand mixer can do! Thank you – I usually avoid recipes calling for shredded meat because I can stand the idea of hand shredding it!

  2. My maternal grandmother made a delicious cole slaw. She ground up a head of cabbage, some carrots and about a half a jar of pimento stuffed green olives (no juice) using a blender. Chop small pieces of cabbage… Put in blender, add water and whir! Takes several times with blender in order to not overload Drain everything well. Add just enough mayo to hold it together. Great slaw!
