  1. What makes me cringe is anyone wearing socks with sandals. Socks just defeat the purpose of sandals.

  2. Christy, love your vlogs! Your attitude of making the best of your day rings so true with me. Recently my husband and I have gone through a lot both financially and emotionally ! My attitude through this has been that it has happened for a reason . We may not know why yet, but why cry and complain. Just smile and press forward. I grew up with a lot less than I have now and we were happy, so I remember that and it helps. My goal in the next couple of years is to move onto a couple of acres and raise our own food. But for now I am trying to do container gardening. Wish me luck. Thank you and God Bless you and your family.

      1. I have been blessed in my life and continue to be everyday. I have my health, family, job , friends and most importantly God.

  3. Christy thank you for accepting the vlogging challenge. I am enjoying them. I would have never dreamed you have depression issues. I deal with depression. With God’s help I manage it most days. But like you said we need to watch for triggers. The thing that helps me the most is to start thanking God for all His many blessings. Thank you for sharing. You brighten my day. Love in Christ Roxie

  4. I have loved catching up with your videos throughout my day today as I have had time. You always make me laugh. I love your outlook on life and your words often cause me to take a closer look at myself and my outlook on life. Thank you!

  5. Christy,

When I saw the picture I thought it was going to be bug spray like ‘Off’ vs. Diet Dr. Pepper and that the Dr. Pepper would be the best thing EVER to spray on as a repellent haha!

  6. Hey Christy! I will let Matthew know you still love him, even tho he wears flip flops! ha! And, as I’ve told you before, my daughter-in-law has connections with you through Lela. Her grandmother is kin somehow. I don’t think there is a beach house or mountain house or any other type house waiting for you all. Wouldn’t that be nice?

As for vacation plans for the summer, don’t have any. But…when Maggie goes back to work, I will be keeping that precious grandbaby!

The Shaggy’s you are talking about is at the Target shopping center, right? Been there a couple of times, but haven’t had the Taco’s. Also, I still have not been to Taziki’s. Just saying.

    Love ya!

  7. Girl I got your back on the men in flip flops and will add sandals to the mix. I just can’t stand it gives me the heebbie jebbiies
