I love your posts and love slow cooking too. I am always looking for quick, tasty meals. Thank you.
This has inspired me to try to make one. I wanted one to fit larger notebooks. I bought leather and some other things today from Hobby Lobby. My husband and I started working on it and I think it will be pretty neat.
I hope you love yours even half as much as I love mine!!
Christy, I am fairly new to your Southern Plate and so far I just love it. I am southern born and raised so when it comes to good cookin I know when southern heavenly morsels hit my lips. I made a big ole mess of your crock pot black eyed peas as you gave directions. When they were ready to eat I thought I had died and gone to heaven. They were to die for. Must admit they were the very, very best I ever had to cross these 68 year old lips. I have tried other things you write about but these were the ultimate delight, simpls old black eyed peas. Thank you, thank you, this is a real keeper in my home. God bless you and yours in 2016.
Welcome to Southern Plate Darlene!!! I am so glad to have you and thrilled that you liked the peas!! I hope you have a Happy and Blessed New Year!
Love the planner and notebooks! Been trying to figure out what would work for me – so many choices out there now. But this sort of design looks like it may be a good fit. I have different notebooks already for journal, Bible study, lists, etc. Thank you for sharing yours for inspiration and helpful links!
And it looks like both Sheps Leatherworks and Yellow Paper House are within minutes of my house! Crazy!
Oh wow! I just branded my initials on my Shep’s last night. It’s a GREAT notebook, plus with both companies you are buying from a home business and the quality really shows that!
Just curious. Do you have a heat brander or do you have the hammer brander? And also, what color is your notebook? It’s beautiful. Is it the cinnamon or acorn? Thanks for posting about this. Just stumbled upon your video and I would never have known about Sheps otherwise. I am working out what to order this week from them… and I wonder, does the scent of the leather change from dye to dye? I like a good leather smell… and I was curious what you thought. Thanks so much. I am sorry to take up so much of your time. So happy to have found your blog and videos!
