Don’t you just love seeing the gorgeous food on the cover of each issue of Southern Living? Today I thought it might be fun if you join me in my kitchen while I cook the cover!
Note: I cut the cooking time by about ten minutes when I baked it in a 9×13 pan instead of the suggested springform pan.

Congratulations! We all knew you’d be all famous sooner or later! I’ve loved reading all your recipes/stories ; it brought back fond memories of my Mom and Dad, Grammas and Grandpas that preceded me so many years ago. I make it a point now to let my kids know the stories and the people behind my cooking. So even of they didn’t get to meet them, they know more of their family history. All because of a lil ol’ country girl who decided to share her heart and recipes so gratefully with the rest of the world. Thanks Christy 🙂

I really enjoy your recipes and could really use a copy of your book and the ladies at the library would be happier because whenever I check out cookbooks from them they’re returned with smudges of ingredients on the recipes I tried
