  1. I love your weekly meal plan and have recommended to many people. It’s literally the only recipe website I subscribe to. However, the website itself is getting increasingly frustrating. There are SO many pop up ads it constantly affects the amount of time it takes to fully load and the presentation. Also, every time you click on one of the links for a recipe, when you go back to your website the recipe links are never in the same order so you have to constantly start all over again if you want to see all the recipes! It’s horribly frustrating.

    1. Hey Julie! This is very helpful feedback, thank you!!! I am going to look into the ads today. I know the experience is easier on mobile but I’ll see if I can make it better on desktop, I’ll have to have a call with my ad network. As far as the order of recipes, they are set up to show in random order so that even recipes added later are shown as many times, rather than penalizing bloggers who get their recipes in later than others. However, that initial page on my site should stay up and the new site (the recipe you clicked on) open in a new window so that when you go back to southernplate the page is exactly as you left it. I’ll check into this, too, and see if the “open in a new window” feature is somehow turned off in the link up. Every now and then things reset themselves and we have to manually tell them what we want them to do again. And by “we” I mean, of course, me and the mouse in my pocket 🙂 I appreciate your help!

      1. You are welcome and thank you for the quick response. Just as an FYI, I’m on an iPad, not desktop.

      2. I, too, have the same problems when I am on my phone and iPad. It works fine on my laptop. I am actually about 4 weeks behind on the Meal Plan Mondays because this summer has been so crazy and I have been away a lot, without my laptop. I LOVE getting the meal plans and look forward to them each week but I have given up so many times because it takes so long to load (and the pop ups) on my phone and iPad. I will just have to carve out lots of time to sit at my computer and get caught up! I don’t want to miss out.
