  2. Picnic season also calls for some of those deviled eggs with the red stuff sprinkled on top! I love making your recipe from the Southern Plate cookbook.

    1. Hey Phil! I’m so sorry you were confused.
      When you click on the link there are instructions in a printable recipe card at the bottom. Maybe you overlooked it? For this post, the author didn’t feel photos were necessary to demonstrate putting weenies in a crock pot. I have the instructions pasted below from her post. If you need my help figuring them out please let me know.

      Place hot dogs in slow cooker and close lid.
      Cook on low for 3-4 hours or high for 1-2 hours.

      1. This crock pot hot dogs trick is awesome for feeding a crown on a budget! I’ve pulled it out many times to put on a “hot dog bar” for our large family gatherings. It’s a real handy one at kids’ b-day parties and large get-togethers! I personally add beef broth (mix up some bouillon) and a couple drops of liquid smoke to the pot to make my cheap weenies taste even better. 🙂
