Don’t you just love seeing the gorgeous food on the cover of each issue of Southern Living? Today I thought it might be fun if you join me in my kitchen while I cook the cover!
Note: I cut the cooking time by about ten minutes when I baked it in a 9×13 pan instead of the suggested springform pan.
For this recipe, pick up a copy of the November 2011 issue of Southern Living or visit them online at SouthernLiving.com (click here to go directly to the recipe).
But I *really* think you should get a copy because there are 103 recipes in this issue alone!
“If we magnified blessings as much as we magnify disappointments, we would all be much happier.”

Thank you, Jenny!

I would love to have a signed cookbook.
Am looking forward to seeing you on November 10 for the Holiday Cooking Show.
Oh that would be nice to win! Then I could give my other copy to my Mama! I was just telling her last night about your book!
Hey Christy: There is nothing like the FEEL of a book or magazine. I am not a Kindle/Nook person. While I do use the internet for recipes, I will definitely look for the new SL Magazine. I look forward to your new book, Autographed or not!
I have quite the cookbook collection. I write notes right on the recipes in the books I own. “Change this, Make again, Family favorite, or or some cases an X right through it..Blech do not repeat” (rare though)
I love cookbooks and am always looking for new ones. I love Southern Plate!!!!!
Have a blissful night and a great tomorrow.
I demolish ever issue of SL cutting our recipes!
YUM!!!
As much as I enjoy your blog & recipes, my friend Aimee adores you. If I win the cookbook, May I give it to her? Please.
