Happy Spring friends! I’m so thankful sweet Christy has allowed me to share some fun decorating ideas with y’all every month! This month makes me grin from ear to ear because I can’t tell you how excited I am that spring is here! I know that for some folks around the country it may still seem like winter, but warmer days are coming soon and the trees and flowers will be bursting with the bright, happy colors of the rainbow! Here in the Ozarks of Southern Missouri, the trees are just beginning to sprout apple-green leaves and the Redbud is blooming hues of purple. Happy yellow daffodils are popping up all over too! It just makes my heart sing!
Today, I’m sharing with y’all this sweet and happy Spring printable with one of my favorites quotes, “My favorite weather is bird chirping weather” by Terri Guillemets. You can frame it of course or just clip it on a clipboard like I have. I painted my clipboard white which I think makes it a prettier background for the cheerful spring print. I also tied a little yellow bow-tie from a scrap piece of fabric to add a little more charm.
All you need is some white craft paint, paint brush, scrap fabric and a clipboard! Paint the clipboard including the metal clip and let it dry. You’ll need to prop the clip open to paint it so it doesn’t glue itself to the board. I used some foil that I rolled into a couple balls, but you might think of something else you can use that’s more clever! Lol!
Once the clipboard is dry, tie a little bow-tie onto the clip, add the printable that I’ve provided and you’re done! It’s just as sweet as sweet tea!!
You can tuck it anywhere to add some happy spring color and charm! You can hang it or use a little easel to hold it. I just have mine leaning against an old white vintage tabletop cupboard.
Surrounding the printable with some little flowers and maybe even a wreath will make it pop even more!
