Hi Christy! I stumbled onto your wonderful website from my friend, Tricia Hodges’ blog (Hodgepodge) and I feel like I’ve found a new, sweet friend! 🙂 Tricia and I were in a homeschool group together here in Atlanta for a bit. My son Asher & I love your storytime section. We especially enjoyed “When I Was Young in the Mountains” because we read that one in school….literature based unit studies. It was heart-warming to hear you share from your personal experiences, as I can identify too being raised mostly in Georgia. I am loooking forward to spending more time on your website and trying out some of your delicious recipes! I’ll have to let you know how they turn out. Many are similar to my grandmothers and the cooks who brought potluck to church dinners when I was growing up. In fact, I’d love to share some with you sometime!
