Iced Cherry Apple Tea
There’s nothin’ wrong with an ice-cold pop every once in a while, but this Iced Cherry Apple Tea is a great way to stay hydrated without reaching for soda or super sugary drinks. The sweet cherry flavor, natural citrus notes, and bold tea blend mellow it out beautifully!

Why You’ll Love This Iced Cherry Apple Tea
If you’re looking for a naturally sweet, antioxidant-packed drink that’s surprisingly good for you, boy, do I have the tea for you! This mix is bold, tart, and fruity with a clean finish, thanks to black cherry berry tea and Bragg’s apple cider vinegar. Add your favorite sweetener, some ice, and you’ve got the perfect summer sipper. Or spring. Or Tuesday afternoon. Honestly, it’s a great iced tea any time of year—it’s part herbal tea and part tangy refresher.
This stuff has helped me kick my cravings for junk food and my one true weakness, Dirty Dr. Pepper. Just make sure you’re using the good stuff with the “mother” at the bottom (I swear by Bragg’s), and you’re sipping on a probiotic boost, too. Bottom line is, you’ll feel good drinking it, and it’s downright delicious.
Let me show you how to make it!

Let’s Talk Ingredients
- Black Cherry Berry tea bags
- Bragg’s apple cider vinegar
- Sweetener
Tip: If you’re using a dry sweetener like Truvia or sugar, add it while the tea is still warm so it dissolves fully. The beauty of this recipe is that you can make it as sweet or tart as you like. I use 3 packets of Truvia, but cane sugar, honey, or even Splenda all work.

How to Make Iced Cherry Apple Tea
1. Steep the Tea
In a quart-sized mason jar or pitcher, steep 2 Black Cherry Berry tea bags in 1 cup of boiling water. Let it steep for a good 15 minutes—you want all that cherry flavor to come through.

2. Add the Good Stuff
Remove the tea bags and stir in the 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and sweetener of choice while the tea is still warm. Give it a good stir so everything dissolves nicely.

3. Fill with Ice and Water
Top off your jar with ice and cold water until it reaches the top. Give it another stir, and you’re ready to sip!

Storage
This apple cider vinegar tea recipe makes just 1 glass, so there’s no need to store leftovers. Simply double the recipe if making it for more than one person at a time!
Can I use a different tea blend?
Absolutely! While this recipe is made for a fruity herbal base, feel free to experiment with green tea, white tea, or a more floral eternity blend if that’s your vibe. Just keep in mind that caffeinated teas like black tea will change your drink’s energy levels.
What if I don’t like apple cider vinegar?
Try using just 1 tablespoon to start, or swap it for a splash of lemon juice. The acidity gives this iced tea its bright, zippy flavor, but it doesn’t need to be overpowering.
Can I serve it hot?
You can! Just steep the tea, mix in your sweetener and vinegar, and skip the ice. It makes a comforting, cozy hot tea with a slightly tangy twist. Alternatively, you can check out this Hot Spiced Apple Cider recipe!
How long does it last in the fridge?
If you do decide to make a larger batch, this iced tea keeps well in the fridge for up to 3 days. You might even find the flavor gets stronger and fruitier as it sits.

Never thought about using vinegar tho.Meself I’d go the lemon juice route.
Y’all have a good one!
What great news to start off the week!!!!!!! “Sweetie is home”. My daughter has a pet sitting business and is an obsessive animal lover. I told her about Sweetie being missing and she asked all her clients to pray for Sweetie. All most everyday she asked me if Sweetie had come home. She is soooo very happy for the good news of Sweetie’s return and so am I.
Welcome home, Sweetie. You were missed tons!
This tea looks absolutely wonderful and so refreshing! Perfect for the upcoming super HOT summer days 😉 I love that Black Cherry Tea hot, so I bet it’s even better cold- so going to be trying this one real soon!! 🙂
It’s beyond wonderful that your little Sweetie came back. My family and I were thinking about and praying for y’all those days when she was missing. We are animal people here too, and we totally understand how they become a part of the family. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats 🙂 God was working, though and He knew all along that she’d be back in your arms- I’m sure He was smiling real big when you all were reunited!
“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, to those who are called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28)
Many, many blessings to you and your family (including those sweet furry family members) 🙂
Amen!
Hmmm…I going to trust you on this, Christy, and maybe give it a try! I imagine it tastes slightly like Kombucha, but not as strong.
I am excited to try this tea out! Thanks also for the update on Sweetie and Pick’s story – so glad it all worked out so perfectly!!
Yep, God’s plans are so mysterious until they are revealed and then it’s that AHA! moment. I was thinking the same thing when Sweetie came home. Giving you just enough time to love Pick. Good one Sweetie!
I was so happy to hear Sweetie came, I have an aging almost 16 year old dog, Cheeky, I took a trip for a week, when I came back she would not come to me, she has been reclusive, it’s as if she has alsheimers, she is no longer the interactive, affectionate, loyal dog she was, she interacts with family but not me, I took her to the vet & nothing is wrong with her. I was very sad, but I love her so much anyway, I couldn’t imagine what I would do if she were to get lost. So happy your Sweetie came back home. Cordially, Shelia
