Iced Cherry Apple Tea
There’s nothin’ wrong with an ice-cold pop every once in a while, but this Iced Cherry Apple Tea is a great way to stay hydrated without reaching for soda or super sugary drinks. The sweet cherry flavor, natural citrus notes, and bold tea blend mellow it out beautifully!

Why You’ll Love This Iced Cherry Apple Tea
If you’re looking for a naturally sweet, antioxidant-packed drink that’s surprisingly good for you, boy, do I have the tea for you! This mix is bold, tart, and fruity with a clean finish, thanks to black cherry berry tea and Bragg’s apple cider vinegar. Add your favorite sweetener, some ice, and you’ve got the perfect summer sipper. Or spring. Or Tuesday afternoon. Honestly, it’s a great iced tea any time of year—it’s part herbal tea and part tangy refresher.
This stuff has helped me kick my cravings for junk food and my one true weakness, Dirty Dr. Pepper. Just make sure you’re using the good stuff with the “mother” at the bottom (I swear by Bragg’s), and you’re sipping on a probiotic boost, too. Bottom line is, you’ll feel good drinking it, and it’s downright delicious.
Let me show you how to make it!

Let’s Talk Ingredients
- Black Cherry Berry tea bags
- Bragg’s apple cider vinegar
- Sweetener
Tip: If you’re using a dry sweetener like Truvia or sugar, add it while the tea is still warm so it dissolves fully. The beauty of this recipe is that you can make it as sweet or tart as you like. I use 3 packets of Truvia, but cane sugar, honey, or even Splenda all work.

How to Make Iced Cherry Apple Tea
1. Steep the Tea
In a quart-sized mason jar or pitcher, steep 2 Black Cherry Berry tea bags in 1 cup of boiling water. Let it steep for a good 15 minutes—you want all that cherry flavor to come through.

2. Add the Good Stuff
Remove the tea bags and stir in the 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and sweetener of choice while the tea is still warm. Give it a good stir so everything dissolves nicely.

3. Fill with Ice and Water
Top off your jar with ice and cold water until it reaches the top. Give it another stir, and you’re ready to sip!

Storage
This apple cider vinegar tea recipe makes just 1 glass, so there’s no need to store leftovers. Simply double the recipe if making it for more than one person at a time!
Can I use a different tea blend?
Absolutely! While this recipe is made for a fruity herbal base, feel free to experiment with green tea, white tea, or a more floral eternity blend if that’s your vibe. Just keep in mind that caffeinated teas like black tea will change your drink’s energy levels.
What if I don’t like apple cider vinegar?
Try using just 1 tablespoon to start, or swap it for a splash of lemon juice. The acidity gives this iced tea its bright, zippy flavor, but it doesn’t need to be overpowering.
Can I serve it hot?
You can! Just steep the tea, mix in your sweetener and vinegar, and skip the ice. It makes a comforting, cozy hot tea with a slightly tangy twist. Alternatively, you can check out this Hot Spiced Apple Cider recipe!
How long does it last in the fridge?
If you do decide to make a larger batch, this iced tea keeps well in the fridge for up to 3 days. You might even find the flavor gets stronger and fruitier as it sits.

So glad to see you got your Sweetie back! And Pick is just adorable – I can’t blame you for adopting him too. There’s a phrase that our local dog rescue foundation uses that goes something like this (I can’t remember exactly and now I can’t find it):
Every dog I bring into my life gives me a piece of its heart
And every dog that leaves, takes a piece of mine.
I hope that one of these days I will have loved so many dogs that my heart will be all dog.
Christy, the drink sounds really good, can’t wait to try it. Thank you so much for sharing the recipe.
So glad you are telling others about the benefits of ACV. I have been eating on the Trim Healthy Mama plan since first of the year. One of our drinks is made similar to this and called Goog Girl Moonshine! Love that mother!
Glad your fur baby is back.
That would be good girl moonshine.
I’m so happy your Sweetie is home. On New Year’s Eve someone stole my 12-year-old Yorkie during a brief potty break outside. I work from home on a PC and for 12 years we’ve had the same routine. An “amber alert” spread through the neighborhood within 10 minutes of him missing. Neighbors and I scoured everywhere, down the road, through the woods. I reported him missing on every site, reported by his microchip, his vet, groomer, all the local places, etc. I even put a huge poster out at the end of my driveway, asking for whoever took him to please bring him back. For 2 weeks I nearly wore the hinges off the door seeing if he was at the door. Late one night a month later, a truck was stopped almost by my house and I thought, “They’re bringing Jack home.” But it was not. I miss him terribly and cry so much. I got a little dog from the local shelter a month ago, maybe now my little Jack will come home like Sweetie.
You are such a sweet, loving, and lovely person. I am so glad your dear dog returned home.
Great news about sweetie and your new dog! I will make this tea when the weather gets warmer for the health nuts in my family!
So glad your Sweetie is back home!! I have been thinking about trying some of these vinegar laced drinks, with your encouragement I just may have to do.
I am anxious to try this, Christy. This winter when I had the Flu, the Dr. I saw recommended that I sip Apple Cider Vinegar along with unprocessed honey throughout the day to help me get over the Flu. I mixed the vinegar with some of the honey (Braggs) and water and drank it several times a day. I do believe it really did help me and I also got my husband to drinking it, too, to help him keep from getting the Flu. He did not get the Flu. We are still drinking it daily because I, too, have read about how good it is for us. So, I will gladly add this recipe to my Beverages file.
